Atty. Paolo Crispino C. Sucalit received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 1999 from the University of San Carlos — Main Campus in Cebu City. He then obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of San Carlos – School of Law in 2004. He took and passed the Bar examinations that same year.
Since passing the Bar, he has been in the practice of law for almost 20 years, becoming well-versed in litigating civil, criminal, labor, and administrative cases. He became a senior partner of the Sucalit, Leyson, Ocampo & Torres Law Offices. He was also a consultant of the Local Government Unit of Catmon, Cebu. Currently, he is the Municipal Legal Officer of the Local Government Unit of Consolacion, Cebu, where he is at the forefront of defending the municipality against legal disputes and where he is responsible for giving legal advice and opinion on matters concerning the actions to be taken by other departments and offices. He also led the filing of expropriation cases that resulted in the opening of new roads for the Municipality and led the enforcement of the Municipal Tax Code that resulted in the closing of several non-compliant businesses.
He currently serves as Special Counsel to the Firm.
